Allora” in Italian can mean many things. It is a word that many Italians use often to say “So.., “Well…”, “And then..”. Allora Travel embodies this because, as travelers, we are always asking ourselves “So, what’s next?” What new corner of the world can we explore?
Our mission is to curate unforgettable trips that allow you to experience those corners of the world. Whether you want to experience the Great Migration in Tanzania, are planning your honeymoon in South Africa and Namibia, or you want to explore the Okavango Delta, our travel experts give you peace of mind that you won’t have to worry about a thing except enjoying yourself.
Meet Allora Travel’s Founder, Sara
Allora Travel is an ode to our travel planner’s first beginnings with exploring the world. Sara’s first trip out of her home country, the US, was when she studied abroad for a semester in Florence, Italy in 2013. She suddenly realized how much bigger this world really is and the importance of learning about and understanding other cultures. Since 2014, Sara has been living abroad, working in the travel industry and living life to its fullest. A few years in Europe, a year or two in Latin America, some months in Asia and now for the past few years in Cape Town where she has found a beautiful place to call home amongst the majesty of Table Mountain and the crystal blue (frigid) waters of the Atlantic.
Sara is a seeker of experiences and how she chooses to live her life is a perfect example of that. Nothing makes her happier than to share recommendations or plan a trip for someone so that they can experience the same magic that she felt when traveling to a place. Sara’s guarantee is that she will give you the local’s perspective and the hidden gems of a place to be sure that you walk away feeling like you had a unique experience.
We actually live IN Africa and we won’t give you the cookie cutter African experience. We know the local guides who share their favorite corners of their city and we have visited or stayed at these lodges to be sure know our clients only stay at the most unique and stunning locations.
